Despite Michael Schumacher failing to win an eighth and final world championship in 2006, the German’s manager now wears a $130,000 watch.
The tabloid Bild-Zeitung reports that Willi Weber, the retired Ferrari driver’s long time manager, commissioned work on a luxury Tourbillon watch to mark Schumacher’s title defeat of Fernando Alonso.
The only spanner in the works is that Schumacher, 37, didn’t win.
“So now I have a nice watch,” Weber laughed.
