Frank Williams’ Oxfordshire based team will drop the ‘F1’ from its name in 2007, it has emerged.
Recently known officially as ‘WilliamsF1’, it is understood that the addition of a title sponsor for this year has resulted in the beleaguered squad’s formal rebirth as simply ‘AT&T Williams Team’.
