Williams launch FW29 at Grove

As the wraps came off the ‘FW29′ on Friday, Williams confirmed that Chinese computer company Lenovo had signed a “major sponsorship agreement”.

The deal includes significant signage on the rear wing and side pods, despite the new title sponsorship with AT&T.

Williams’ new Toyota-powered car, an evolution of the disappointing 2006 racer, features a revised blue livery, including an all-white nose.

It has passed the FIA’s crash tests and will make its track debut – alongside a second completed FW29 – at Jerez on Tuesday.

Williams, with a new ‘W’-style logo, also said in a statement that Japanese test driver Kazuki Nakajima “will be contributing to the team’s Friday activities at some grands prix in the forthcoming season.”
