‘AS’ newspaper, while publishing a photoshopped image of a FW27 single seater featuring the famous Spanish club’s name and crest, insisted that an agreement with a works team like McLaren-Mercedes or Toyota is unlikely due to Real Madrid’s Audi sponsorship.
Moreover, the liveries of other F1 teams do not provide the necessary white background for the crest.
