2007 Williams racer Alex Wurz has hinted that his next formula one foray could be in the commentary box.

The 33-year-old is believed to be negotiating an out-of-cockpit advisory role for the Grove-based squad, after relinquishing his race seat to Kazuki Nakajima prior to the season finale in October.

According to the Austrian magazine ‘Weekend’, however, Wurz’s vast experience, as a veteran of nearly 70 grands prix and several years as a prominent test driver, might also be put to another use in the near future.

“I would enjoy illustrating to the best of my ability the extremes of this fascinating sport,” he said.
