Team principal Colin Kolles revealed on Wednesday that Spyker will reveal the identity of Christijan Albers’ full time race replacement on Thursday.

Reports on Wednesday revealed the identity of the successful pay-driver for the remaining seven races of 2007 as Japan’s Sakon Yamamoto, who debuted for Super Aguri last year.

“We can not say anything official at the current time,” Kolles was quoted as saying by the news agency Sport-Informations-Dienst on Wednesday afternoon.

He confirmed suggestions, however, that the decision would be publicised on Thursday.

25-year-old Yamamoto, with an estimated multi-million dollar purse of personal sponsorship, tested with Jordan in 2005, and this season has been racing for the Spanish GP2 team BCN Competicion.

He had not scored any points in 2007.
