A wet track at Jerez

True to adverse weather forecasts, Jerez dawned wet for the third day of pre-season testing this week in southern Spain.

Cars threw up huge plumes of spray and dodged deep puddles of standing water at the circuit in Andalusia, but all ten teams present nonetheless fielded cars before lunch.

Making his proper formula one debut on Friday is Williams’ new Japanese test driver Kazuki Nakajima, whose maiden run in the FW28 was for a Toyota demonstration at Fuji.
