A new addition to the F1 paddock this season – Kangaroo TV – has been named one of the best inventions of 2006.
Authoritative US weekly newsmagazine Time said the hand-held device, which beams video, audio and telemetry data to trackside fans also at Nascar races, was a ‘landmark invention’.
“Kangaroo TV offers an exceptional fan experience, and this recognition is a tribute to all our employees and partners,” said founder Marc Arseneau.
At F1 races, fans can follow in-car cameras, watch live timing data and listen to car-to-pit radios. Kangaroo TV debuted at Indianapolis’ US GP in July.
