Caterham F1 testdriver Giedo van der Garde and Nico Rosberg performed in a fantastic show today at Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
Van der Garde and Rosberg showed the public a high speed perfomance in the harbour – city and also made a lots of donuts. Van der Garde even made a small stop during his demonstration and asked his girlfriend to marry him, his girlfriend said of course yes and the public cheered out loudly.
Lotus F1 Romain Grosjean was also in Rotterdam, he didn’t drive, but signed autographcs for the fans.
Besides their was the Englisman Terry Grant with stunning perfomances, the NL Drift series, and several Le Mans and Dakar – cars.
“What a show”, said Van der Garde. “It is always great to drive in a Formula 1 – car. Demonstrations are fun, spinning and drifting with the car is tremendous. And this demo is in the Netherland, my home country, this is even more special.”
