Timo Glock, despite courting a full time role for 2007 in formula one, has signed a contract to race again in the GP2 championship next year.

The young German, who tested and raced for Jordan in 2004, will still test in the coming weeks for BMW-Sauber but is to stay with the ‘iSport’ GP2 team.

He said on Thursday: “My half season with (them) was so good that I always wanted to continue.”

Also missing out on a top ride in formula one next year, McLaren tester Gary Paffett could reportedly return to the DTM category in 2007.

However, the Briton – out of the running for the spot alongside Fernando Alonso and having lost the Honda test ride to Christian Klien – is still expected to test part-time next year for Ron Dennis’ Woking based team.
