2006 Toro Rosso ‘Friday’ driver Neel Jani says he might conduct some tests for Red Bull’s F1 family next year.
The Swiss driver, who turns 23 on Friday, recently had his first test for the ‘PKV’ Champ Car team ahead of his full time ride in 2007.
But despite leaving formula one to return to a racing grid, Jani said he still had ambition to succeed at the pinnacle of motor sport.
His Champ Car seat is funded by energy drink Red Bull, the owner of Red Bull Racing and part-owner of Gerhard Berger’s Toro Rosso squad.
“It is quite possible that I will still test for Red Bull in formula one,” the newspaper ‘Bieler Tagblatt’ quoted Jani as saying.
