Niki Lauda has responded with suspicion to internet speculation that Michael Schumacher is set to prolong his F1 career beyond this year.
It is now strongly rumoured that Kimi Raikkonen will be the veteran German’s Ferrari teammate in 2007, but Lauda – the former triple world champion – interestingly threw a spanner into the story’s works.
”I do not read the internet,” the Austrian is quoted by ‘Kicker’ magazine as saying, ”but I doubt that Schumacher will go on.”
