Pedro de la Rosa admitted in Hungary that he is not sure if the McLaren seat will still be his when the circus reconvenes in Turkey.
But the Spaniard sounded an optimistic note by telling ‘AS’ newspaper that team chiefs were pleased with his form around the twisty Hungaroring track.
”Ron Dennis and Norbert Haug congratulated me after qualifying,” de la Rosa, 35, revealed.
The Barcelona-born racer said he had not been guaranteed Juan Pablo Montoya’s vacant seat for the balance of the season, although he felt ‘calm’ about the situation.
