A little more than a week prior to the first action at Albert Park, some formula one teams still have engines firing in Europe.
Toyota on Wednesday set up a final two-day test at Jerez, where – despite some rain – Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli are trialling a Melbourne spec update for the new car’s body work.
Red Bull, meanwhile, are testing this week for two days at the Magny Cours circuit in France, while Nico Rosberg on Wednesday performed a ‘shakedown’ for Williams at the Silverstone circuit (UK).
F1’s Italian based teams Ferrari and Toro Rosso will test briefly at, respectively, Fiorano and Mugello, before flying their cars to Melbourne out of Milan.
