VKV City Racing in Rotterdam in the Netherlands was this year again a big succes. The 10th edition was visited by 600.000 people. The crowd came to see Kimi Raikkonen in the Ferrari and the new Dutch F1-star Max Verstappen in the Scuderia Toro Rosso.
“I always like to come to Rotterdam”, so told Raikkonen OneStopStrategy.com. “I lived here for a while when I was karting for a Dutch team. It is a nice place. Their a lot of fans so it’s nice to enjoy them with the Ferrari F1 car.”
16-year old Max Verstappen drove for the first time in the Toro Rosso: “It was a great experience to drive here in Rotterdam, in my home country. The team prepared the car very well today. The crowd made the day extra special for me.”
Beside the F1-cars of Ferrari and Toro Rosso their were also demonstrations by Dakar-cars, motorcycling-bikes, and an Apache-helicopter.
